Get To Know Shushila
For over 15 years I have worked with vulnerable adults and carers who struggle with mental health, self-progression, and personal development, using techniques such as Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and initiatives to promote self-help.
I have always taken an interest in people’s behaviours, how we interact, how we socialise or maintain social distancing, how we react or respond to everyday problems and to crisis situations. This led me to look at what cognitions drive us to behave the way we do, hence me entering the world of psychotherapy.
In the past I have worked at:
Ealing Abbey Counselling Services.
Metanoia Counselling Services.
TASHA Foundation (alcohol and substance misuse)
Women's Counselling Services
EACH Counselling - Domestic Violence Training
National Centre for Eating Disorders as a registered Eating Disorders therapist
Wellbeing is something I strongly advocate. I have made a pledge to take care of my wellbeing: mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and I hope I demonstrate this to you through my work and through our therapeutic relationship
I believe in a holistic approach and that everyone has the right to access services, treatments, support, and guidance to assist them in being the best they can, in being well.
Make a pledge to yourself today that you will embrace your wellbeing and live your best life.
